Madugu praises Super Falcons' display in Cameroon win

Super Falcons coach Justine Madugu has commended his team's performance in their 2-0 friendly win over Cameroon on Tuesday, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

Rasheedat Ajibade scored both goals for the Super Falcons at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.

Madugu's side is gearing up for the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in July, and the coach praised his players for their impressive display.

"I want to appreciate the players for their performance this evening," he said.

"For us, it is still a work in progress; we are still trying to put our preparations together, but we must commend the girls for the gallant effort they put in."

Super Falcons are in Group B for the WAFCON in Morocco alongside Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana.
