The race to sign Nigeria international, Terem Moffi continues after Lorient rejected a £15 million bid from Southampton.
Moffi has been the subject of transfer of clubs in England with Everton, Crystal Palace and Southampton queuing for the signature of the 23 year-old.
Now according to Skysports, Southampton will have to increase their bid after Lorient rejected their offer. Lorient although are willing to sell but will only part ways with their striker for a deal with close to £25 million.
The Saints currently occupy last position on the table and believe Moffi’s s goals can lift them out of relegation trouble.
Moffi on the other hand has scored 10 goals in 16 league appearances for Lorient this season.
