"?Germany and Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is set to miss both of Germany's upcoming matches as a result of an injury to his right foot.
The German FA have released a statement via their "?website which claims that Can will be left out of the world champions' friendly against Finland and their World Cup qualifying match versus Norway.
The statement reads: "Joachim Löw will be without Liverpool player Emre Can for tomorrow's friendly against Finland (20:45 CEST) and Sunday's opening World Cup qualifier against Norway. The defender has suffered a capsular injury in his right foot.
"The rest of the squad were put through their paces at today's final training session at the Paul-Janes-Stadion in Düsseldorf. World Cup winner André Schürrle has a back issue and will also miss tomorrow's match in Mönchengladbach.
"Today marks Bastian Schweinsteiger's final training session with Die Mannschaft. His international career comes to a close after the game in Borussia-Park."
Can had joined up with Joachim Low's squad ahead of the two matches, but picked up the injury, presumably during a training session, and will head back to Anfield for treatment.
Meanwhile, Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has trained with the Germany squad for the last time. The 32-year-old will play against Finland on Wednesday in what should be his last appearance for his country.
