On his way out from AS Roma again, this time possibly even for good, 31-year old Swedish international goalkeeper Robin Olsen, according to Italian transfer market pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, is growing into a major target for Stade Rennais. The Breton club, not fully happy with Alfred Gomis' performing across last season, have recently picked a bunch of players into Serie A arrays (M'Baye Niang from Torino, Daniele Rugani from Juventus, Dalbert Henrique from Inter Milan), and former Cagliari and Everton stopper might be the next one indeed.

Still on a deal with Giallorossi until June 2023, Malmö FF alumni, previously playing, in minor-league engagements, for Copenhagen (Denmark, which he holds a dual citizenship of) and PAOK Thessaloniki (Greece), was recently linked to Atletico Madrid as well, as a backup for Jan Oblak. According to Transfermarkt.de, Olsen's rights are currently worth 3 million euros.
