Out of Paris Saint-Germain backline department being extensively crowded (a roster already including Sergio Ramos, Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe, Thilo Kehrer, Abdou Diallo), 2002-born French centre-back Timothée Pembelé, turning 19 on September 9, is about to join Girondins de Bordeaux, on a season-long loan spell, including an option to buy, according to L'Equipe.
Currently on a deal with Ligue 1 giants until June 2024, Pembelé has been collecting nine caps in official games for PSG, so far, scoring one goal therein. A Parc des Princes side alumni since 2015, the young backliner, mostly a central defender, is able to cover both full-back spots as well. The buy-back price set upon his contract is likely to be a 2-digit one.
