Real Madrid is back on top of LaLiga after an easy win against Real Mallorca on Wednesday, thanks to a hat-trick from Marco Asensio.
The hosts scored right away, with Karim Benzema capitalizing on a mistake by Mallorca defender Josep Gayá before sprinting through to score.
After Asensio made it 2-0 with a close-range tap-in, Lee Kang-in equalized for the visitors with a curling goal past Thibaut Courtois after the Madrid defense had been caught asleep.
After being put in by Benzema and shooting past the goalie a few minutes later, Asensio restored Los Blancos' two-goal advantage.
In the second half, Asensio completed his hat-trick with an unstoppable effort into the bottom corner, giving his team a dominating advantage.
Madrid won thanks to other goals from Benzema in the third and 78th minutes, as well as Isco in the 84th minute.
