FC Barcelona is trying to sign Luuk de Jong in the last few meters of the transfer window. As reported by 'Cadena COPE', the Catalans have contacted Sevilla FC in this regard. The transfer window in Spain is still open until 00:00.
The 31-year-old de Jong is at home in the center-forward position. He knows Barça coach Ronald Koeman very well from his time together with the Dutch national team and would therefore prefer to switch to Camp Nou instead of the equally interested PSV Eindhoven. In the Bundesliga, de Jong played for Borussia Mönchengladbach from 2012 to 2014.
