Marca report that Atlético Madrid are close to signing Spanish striker Rafa Mir.
The 24-year-old is currently at the Olympics with Spain, however, Atlético could come to an agreement with Wolves in the next few hours. Head coach Diego Simeone wants another striker at the club to give Luis Suárez the correct amount of rest and provide healthy competition.
In a recent interview with AS, Mir admitted that he thinks his style would suit how Atleti play.

Mir has LaLiga experience, having played with relegated Huesca last season, scoring 13 league goals along the way.
