Lens held by Le Mans in 2-2 Ligue 1 draw

Lens were unable to overcome Le Mans as the sides drew 2-2 in the fourth round of the French championship.

Le Mans took the lead in the 32nd minute when Adil Bourabia found the net. The hosts then doubled their advantage, with Lucas Kalodjat scoring to put them 2-0 ahead.

Lens reduced the deficit before half-time through Abdallah Sima, giving the visitors a route back into the match.

The comeback was completed six minutes after the restart. Franjo Ivanovic equalised for Lens in the 51st minute, with Ruben Aguilar providing the assist.

The draw leaves Lens on four points and ninth in the Ligue 1 table. Le Mans have three points and occupy 13th place.
