Everton coach, Frank Lampard gave update on the injury of midfielder Alex Iwobi ahead of the weekend game against Southampton.
Iwobi is expected to undergo a late fitness test to decide if he can pay any part at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Lampard while providing an update on Iwobi’s fitness in the press conference said “it’s a less injury.”
“It’s a lesser injury than what we thought. So, we’ll see in the morning if he’s (Iwobi) ready to play tomorrow.” Lampard told a press conference on Friday.
Iwobi sustained the ankle injury in Everton’s Emirates FA Cup clash against Manchester United last weekend.
