Lagos Legends Club has enlisted over 200 of its members for the innovative Ilera-Eko Social Healthcare Scheme for citizens of Lagos State, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

Speaking on the healthcare scheme which comes in several packages, the convener of LLC, which is a group of retired footballers who plied their trades in the state, Engr. Waidi Akanni, said the healthcare scheme by the government of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is very innovative and timely, as the hundreds of retired footballers are equally in dire needs of quality and affordable health plan.

Members of the LLC, which has the Head of Service at Lagos State Service Commission, Bode Agoro, as one of its patrons, have been effusive in praises for Governor Sanwo-Olu on the healthcare scheme, which they described as timely and life-saving.

Ahead of the healthcare scheme, the LLC, also extends its appreciation to Bode Agoro, who was a former Stationery Stores player in his hey days, for his agelong support and encouragement to the LLC, even as it earnestly look forward to further assistance and collaboration, for the benefits of the hundreds of retired footballers in the state.
