LA LIGA – Munir El-Haddadi still has no takers, Sevilla departure imminent

Ex-Barcelona forward Munir El-Haddadi has been on the search for a new club since the start of the recently concluded transfer window but to no avail. The Moroccan will stay put at Julen Lopetegui’s team but does not look to be part of the manager’s team plans for 2021/22.

He has a contract valid until June 2023 and is on a €3m net per year deal with the Andalusian club. His playing time is further reduced with the arrival of Erik Lamela and Rafa Mir.

 The Sevilla player will reportedly entertain interests from any club, including from ones in Turkey, Russia and Ukraine.

He is expected to be put on the club’s winter transfer departure list and a potential loan move is also on the books.
