Karikari’s goal came in the 36th minute after his side had gone two down.

The 23-year-old appears to have hit a purple patch in his scoring prowess by hitting his second goal in just three days for Halmstad which had another Ghanaian King Osei Gyan playing the full duration of the midweek clash.

Jan Jonsson’s side however had to succumb to a 3-1 defeat in the end to the champions.

Enoch Adu Kofu played the full throttle for Malmo who maintain the lead at the top of the Swedish top flight after six round of games.
