Kazie Njokugodswill bids Rivers United farewell

Rivers United Wingback Kazie Njokugodswill has penned a farewell message to Nigeria Premier Football League club, Rivers United, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

After four years with the Pride of Rivers, Kazie leaves the Porthacourt side after four (4) Seasons with one League Trophy and one CAF Champions League Appearance.

Kazie who also plays as a central defender made two national team appearance and was a CAF Confederation Cup Quarter-finalist, a feat he helped United achieve with his last winner against Dream FC.

Aba born defender made the team of that week a couple of times in the just concluded NPFL season scoring some important goals for Rivers United.

"Today, I say a big THANK YOU to the fans, supporters, players, coaches and management of Rivers United Football Club for an Amazing four (4) years of great accomplishments.

Being a player of RFC was an honor, also, having to fight for its pride on the pitch was the best feeling ever.

Saying goodbye to a club that has given me so much platform to excel is the hardest thing right now, though we have shared both good and bad times but TODAY I take nothing but GOOD MEMORIES away after the expiration of my contract with the team.

RFC will always be the pioneer of my success story going forward, even as I bid farewell to the Pride Of Rivers.

I wish RFC more achievement in the nearest future".
