Bordeaux’s Nigerian winger, Samuel Kalu, is aiming to score his third goal in the Ligue 1 on Saturday when they travel to face OGC Nice.
Kalu who scored a stunning goal on Wednesday night as Bordeaux beat Le Havre 1-0 at Stade Matmut-Atlantique to advance to the next round of the Coupe de la Ligue, has scored against SC Amiens and Nimes in 13 Ligue 1 games.
“I hope to score more goals this year and helping team in the remaining games,” Kalu said in his post-match interview.
The goal against Le Harve was his third strike for Bordeaux after playing 23 games in all competitions.
Bordeaux are placed 13th in the Ligue 1 table.
The Super Eagles winger has made five appearances and scored once for the Super Eagles since he made his debut against Seychelles in 2018.
