"?Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has heaped praise on Manchester United legend Paul Scholes and Italian icon Andrea Pirlo, comparing the two for their similar approaches to the game.
The Frenchman trained with Scholes before leaving United and joining Juventus on a free transfer in 2012.
Speaking to "?ESPN, Pogba was full of kind words for Sir Alex Ferguson and, despite their differences, he still holds the legendary manager in high regard.
"He's a coach I respect a lot,"? Pogba said about Ferguson. "But he's a human. I'm someone who says what he thinks. Whether it's Ferguson or [President Barack] Obama, I'll tell him.
"Ferguson came to my place. We talked. It did make me think. He wanted to keep me, but I'd made my decision to leave."?
On the topic of the greats he played with at United, including Ryan Giggs and Scholes, Pogba said: "With them you train to the end, up to perfection, because Paul Scholes "? despite his age "? was still there at the end of practice, hitting long passes, shots. Because of their emphasis on their passing skills, Pogba believes Pirlo and Scholes are similar types of players.
