Juventus defeated Atalanta 2-0 in Turin to claim victory in the fifth round of the Italian championship.

Chico Conceicao put the home side ahead in the 28th minute, taking advantage of an opportunity to finish past the Atalanta goalkeeper and give Juventus a 1-0 lead.
Juventus continued to protect their advantage after the interval and added a second goal late in the match. Bremer scored in the 77th minute to double the hosts’ lead and complete the final score.

Atalanta were unable to respond to either goal and finished the match without scoring. Juventus, meanwhile, secured a clean-sheet win on home ground.
