According to Globo Esporte, brazilian winger Douglas Costa is in talks with Gremio and could join the Brazilian side this summer. Costa, 31, is currently playing with perennial German champions Bayern Munich and would join Gremio on loan from Juventus, that still holds his rights and might have to extend his contract before a deal with Gremio could be put in place.
Costa appeared in just 11 games for Bayern this season, dealing with yet another series of injuries, and would move to his native country for a chance to go back to form and revive his career in time for the chance of securing a World Cup 2022 spot with Brazil.
Bayern Munich a few weeks ago announced they wouldn't keep Costa after this season.
