Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew scored what proved to be a valuable goal for Lorient four minutes after climbing off the bench in his side’s 1-1 draw with Lyon.

The former Marseille man continued from where he left off before going to the AFCON with a fine header on the 50th minute after a great cross from Benjamin Jeanot to hand Lorient the lead.

The 23 year old overall play was impressive and his goal now means he has bagged 7 goals in 18 appearance for Lorient and even more impressively has scored in his last three outings for the side.

His goal could however not earn his side all three points as Clinton Njie scored late on to deny Lorient all three points.
