Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Johnathan Opoku grabbed his eighth goal of the season by scoring the third goal for Oss in their 3-1 victory over Helmond Sport in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Friday.

The goal came as a reprieve for the 24-year-old who had squandered a host of glorious chances in the game.

Opoku had poked into the box to latch onto a Istvan Bakx intelligent low cross from inside of the box in the 35th minute to score his third goal in three games.

The win has helped Oss to push to seventh place on the log while Helmond continue to stay in the relegation zone.
