"?Given how long Chelsea winger Victor Moses has played in the Premier League, you could be forgiven for thinking the 25-year-old is English.
However, despite the former Wigan Athletic and Crystal Palace representing England at four different age groups during the early stages of his career, Moses made the decision to represent Nigeria, the country of his birth, and made his international debut back in 2012.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has not been given any sympathy on Twitter after declaring Moses to be a "young English talent".
Jamie Redknapp on Victor Moses: "It's nice to see a young English talent getting a chance."
Moses has 24 caps for Nigeria and is nearly 26.
Unfortunately for former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Redknapp, Moses is neither promising youngster nor is he English, and therefore he has incurred the wrath of humorous Twitter users, each pointing out just how wrong Redknapp was with his statement.

It seems wrongly identifying a player's nationality as a pundit is something that runs in the Redknapp family, as Jamie's dad Harry once stated Leicester City centre-back Wes Morgan should be called up for England, despite the Foxes captain already picking up many international caps for Jamaica.
