Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport claims AS Roma have met with representatives of Andre Ayew.

But no agreement was reached on Saturday night and talks are scheduled to continue this weekend.

According to the publication, there is mutual interest as Roma like the player and the Ghana international wants a move to Italy.

Ayew’s representatives are also expected to hold talks with Inter Milan who are seeking to rebuild for next season under Roberto Mancini.

The 25-year-old is available on a free transfer when his contract at Olympique Marseille runs out in the summer.

English sides Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle and Liverpool are ready to snap him up.

Bundesliga outfits Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund also interested.
