New recruit to the fold of Remo Stars of the Nigeria Professional Football League, Oluwasegun Olalere has expressed delight over signing for the Ikenne base side.

Olalere joined from Sporting Lagos for a fee that was not disclosed.

The left back stated his happiness over joining the team that finished third on the 2021/2022 log.

“It feels so good to be here because this is a club I’ve been eyeing for a while now”.

“I’m fully prepared, ready for the new season and looking forward to it

Remo Stars had previously made known to the public three new players for the 2022/2023 season; two internationals and one local base players.

Goalkeeper Charles Tambe joined from Shooting Stars on a free transfer.The Cameroonian, a former Lobi Stars and Abia Warriors man is to give competition to number one goalie Kayode Bankole.

Franck Kwame from Nigerien club, AS Douanes, a key member of the AS Douanes side that lost to Kwara United in a CAF Confederation Cup preliminary was announced.

Winger Godwin Odibo also was bought from Ikorodu City FC.
