Inter in talks to extend Carlos Augusto contract, says Fabrizio Romano

Inter are advancing negotiations over a new contract for defender Carlos Augusto, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Serie A club are aiming to agree a fresh deal with the 27-year-old Brazilian before the end of the year, Romano reports.

Carlos Augusto has made four appearances for Inter in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

His current contract with Inter runs until mid-2028. Transfermarkt values the defender at €23m.
