Inter coach adds Sassuolo defender to transfer wish-list

Inter are interested in signing Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi during the upcoming summer transfer window, reports say.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly observing the market, looking for a possible replacement for Jeison Murillo, who could leave the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza during the summer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will put forward a bid for the Neroverdi central defender regardless of Murillo’s departure.

However Roberto Mancini’s wish-list is made up of a number of names, including River Plate’s Emanuel Mammana, Manchester City’s Pablo Zabaleta, and PSV Eindhoven’s Jeffrey Bruma.

Acerbi, 28 years old, has come back to a very high performance level after some uncertain years and has earned the call for EURO 2016 by Italy boss Antonio Conte.

Formerly of AC Milan, Chievo, and Genoa, has accumulated 33 Serie A appearances with Sassuolo during this season, scoring four goals in the process.
