Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are stepping up their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.
The North London club have reportedly received internal approval to open formal negotiations for the Nigerian international and are confident that agreeing personal terms with the prolific forward will not present a significant obstacle.
Osimhen, who is currently with Turkish champions Galatasaray, remains one of Europe's most sought-after strikers after another outstanding campaign.
Galatasaray are understood to value the 27-year-old at around £65 million, while Tottenham's initial offers are believed to be between £50 million and £55 million.
