Suzuki named official global partner for key CAF tournaments

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Suzuki Motor Corporation have announced a partnership making Suzuki an Official Global Partner for key CAF tournaments, including the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026, Nigeriasoccernet.com can confirm.

The agreement was formalized on 11 November 2025 in Hamamatsu, Japan, with CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba and Yusuke Kato, Managing Officer and Executive General Manager for Automobile Marketing, EMEA, representing Suzuki.

“We are very pleased to have concluded a sponsorship agreement with CAF. Sport has the power to connect people and nurture hope for the future", Yusuke Kato, Managing Officer and Executive General Manager, Automobile Marketing, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Suzuki Motor Corporation stated.

"Through this partnership, we aim to further strengthen the ties between Suzuki, soccer, and Africa, enhancing Suzuki’s brand presence across the continent. We will continue to support the lives of all who love soccer by delivering the joy of mobility and enriching their daily lives.”

Under the partnership, Suzuki will also be Official Global Partner for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2026/27 and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2026/27. The collaboration aims to enhance fan engagement, celebrate African football excellence, and strengthen CAF’s global commercial reach.
