Raphinha reflects on the dream that brought him to Barcelona

Barcelona captain Raphinha has recalled how strongly he wanted to join the club, saying: “My idols played for Barcelona.”

The Brazil forward moved to the Catalan side from Leeds in the summer of 2022, fulfilling his ambition of playing for the club.

Since arriving at Barcelona, Raphinha has established himself as a global star and become a key figure in the team. He has also taken on the captaincy.

Raphinha has scored 89 goals and provided 62 assists in 187 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions.

The forward’s current contract with the club runs until the middle of 2028.
