Milan defender Strahinja Pavlovic avoided a serious injury after being substituted early in Serbia’s recent Nations League match against the Netherlands.

According to Calciomercato, the decision to take Pavlovic off was a precautionary measure. The defender is therefore expected to be available when the Serie A season resumes, including Milan’s match against Sassuolo.

Pavlovic has been a regular for Milan this season. Under Ruben Amorim, he has made six appearances, featuring in five Serie A matches and once in the Europa League.
