Terem Moffi was on target for OGC Nice in their 3-1 win against Auxerre in the Ligue One on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles striker scored his first goal of the season, coming off the bench to seal a home Ligue 1 victory for Nice over Gabriel Osho AJ Auxerre at the Allianz Riviera.

Jeremie Boga opened score for OG Nice after three minutes of play before Lassine Sinayoko restored parity for the visitors on 22 minutes.

However, Clement Akpa put the ball behind the back of his own three minutes later to turn the momentum back to the host.

Things got worse for Auxere following goalkeeper Donovan Leon's sending off after a minute of additional time of the first half.

Super Eagles defender Gabriel Osho, who was on the roster of Auxerre, had to be replaced for substitute goalkeeper Theo De Percin to come on.

Moffi sealed the win on 76 minutes three minutes after his introduction. The goal was subjected a VAR check, but later stood.
