The former Hammer's captain role and influence within the club’s recruitment structure have expanded significantly over the past year and it is understood that he is a strong admirer of the 19-year-old’s profile and potential.

Currently plying his trade with Zulte Waregem in Belgium, Nnadi has impressed with a series of composed and energetic performances.

His blend of athleticism, maturity on the ball, and ability to carry play through midfield has drawn attention across the league. A Nigeria U20 international, he is widely viewed as one of the most promising young midfield talents to emerge from the country in recent years.

Sources indicate that Nnadi could be available for a fee in the region of £3.5 million, a figure considered well within West Ham’s financial reach and one that represents strong long-term value.

The club is believed to be weighing up the possibility of offering the midfielder a five-year contract should negotiations progress positively.

From West Ham’s perspective, reinforcing the midfield remains a priority. With concerns over depth and long-term options in the middle of the park, Nnadi is seen as a strategic investment who could strengthen the squad while also fitting the club’s broader vision of securing young, high-upside talent.

The Nigerian midfielder is also set for his first major continental appearance after been included in Eric Chelle's AFCON squad.
