Maresca says Manchester City need time to understand his methods

Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca says the team must improve after their hard-fought 3-2 victory away to RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

Erling Haaland scored the winning goal in the 78th minute to secure victory for the visitors on Wednesday.

Maresca, who took charge of Manchester City in July, replaced Pep Guardiola after his predecessor’s 10-year spell at the club.

“I need to get to know the players better, and they need to get to know me,” the Italian said.
