Korneev says Monaco midfielder Golovin is ‘Barcelona level’

Former Barcelona player Igor Korneev believes Monaco midfielder Aleksandr Golovin is capable of playing for the Catalan club.

Golovin, 30, joined Monaco from CSKA Moscow in 2018. He has since made 273 appearances for the club, scoring 40 goals and providing 48 assists for his team-mates.

The Russia international’s current contract with Monaco runs until the middle of 2029. His market value is estimated at 18 million euros.
