Kane singles out Kompany after Ballon dOr victory

Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane made a special mention of Vincent Kompany after winning the Ballon d'Or at a ceremony in London.

Kompany, the Bayern Munich manager, was recently admitted to hospital after losing consciousness during a training session. The Belgian is now in a stable condition but is expected to need several weeks to recover.

Kane joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, while Kompany took charge of the team a year later.
