Inter have extended the contract of Italian striker Francesco Pio Esposito, securing the 21-year-old’s future at the Milan club until the end of June 2032.
The agreement was announced by Inter’s press office and represents a long-term commitment to a player who has come through the club’s academy. Esposito has developed within Inter’s system and remains part of the club’s plans after making an early contribution during the current Serie A campaign.
Esposito has played three matches in this season’s Italian top flight. Across those appearances, he has scored one goal and supplied one assist.
The new deal keeps the forward contracted to Inter for almost seven more years. It also underlines the club’s decision to retain a player who has progressed through its youth structure and has already made an impact in the opening stages of the league season.
Inter have made a perfect start to their Serie A campaign. After three rounds, the Milan side have collected nine points and sit second in the table.
Their next fixture will come in the Champions League, when they face Real Madrid. The match will provide Inter with their next opportunity to continue their campaign on the European stage, while Esposito will remain part of a squad that has begun the domestic season with three victories.
For Esposito, the contract extension formalises his continued association with Inter at a significant stage of his development. The striker is now tied to the club through to June 2032, having emerged from its academy and registered both a goal and an assist in his first three Serie A appearances of the current campaign.
Inter’s announcement comes as the club prepare for a meeting with Real Madrid, with the Italian side entering that Champions League fixture from second place in Serie A and with nine points from a possible nine.
