Sergio Ramos has reportedly been offered a surprise return to LaLiga, with Getafe interested in signing the former Real Madrid and Spain defender as a free agent.
Ramos, 40, has been without a club since leaving Mexican side Monterrey last December. He has not played in his home country since 2024.
The defender is regarded as a LaLiga and Spain legend after winning five league titles and four Champions Leagues during his career, as well as the World Cup and several other honours.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Getafe are exploring the possibility of bringing Ramos to the club. The proposed move would see him return to Spain after his spell in Mexico.
Getafe have already reunited with one of Ramos’ former Real Madrid team-mates this season, having signed Daniel Carvajal after his departure from Real Madrid at the end of last season.
