The winger has just one year remaining on his current deal, with no ongoing discussions over an extension. According to Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws, the club is unwilling to risk losing him on a free transfer.

Sor joined Genk from Slavia Prague in December 2022 and has contributed six goals and two assists across all competitions this season.

In recent years, fellow Nigerians Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare have also moved on from Genk, joining Southampton F.C. and Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., respectively.

The 25-year-old is currently in camp with the Nigeria national football team ahead of their upcoming friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
