Former Italy and Roma striker Francesco Totti has recalled how severely he was affected by coronavirus, saying he was “a hair’s breadth from death”.

Totti spent his entire playing career with Roma, representing the Serie A club from 1992 to 2007. The legendary forward made 58 appearances for Italy and scored nine goals.
