Parma have announced that Carlos Cuesta has left his position as head coach.

The decision was confirmed by the club’s press office after Parma collected four points from their opening five matches of the Serie A season. They currently sit 15th in the table.

Cuesta took charge of Parma on the eve of the 2025-2026 campaign and guided the club to another season in Italy’s top division. Parma finished 13th in last season’s domestic championship.

The club have not yet identified Cuesta’s successor.

Parma’s next fixture is an away match against Internazionale in the sixth round of Serie A. Internazionale are joint top of the table with Roma.

Jacobo Ramon is not currently considering a return to Real Madrid, despite the Spanish club’s interest in bringing the Como defender back to Madrid, according to AS.
