Monaco striker Folarin Balogun says he remains open to a move to the Premier League after his proposed transfer to Everton collapsed during the summer.

The 25-year-old forward had been close to leaving Monaco for Everton in a deal initially expected to be worth about 46 million euros. However, the transfer fell through after problems emerged during his medical.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Balogun confirmed that he is still considering the possibility of playing in England’s top flight.

Balogun also addressed Monaco’s strong start to the Ligue 1 season. The club are unbeaten and currently lead the table, but the striker urged caution over the significance of their early position.

Atletico Madrid and Juventus are interested in Arsenal forward Noni Madueke, who has not started a Premier League match for the club this season, according to The Telegraph.

The 24-year-old England international has made appearances in the league only as a substitute. His only starts this season have come in the English Super Cup and the English League Cup.

Madueke started 16 Premier League matches for Arsenal last season but missed about two months with a knee injury.

England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has admitted an offence of dangerous driving after failing to give way while driving a Lamborghini on 14 April.

The incident created a hazardous situation on the road, with two cars forced to brake sharply. Pickford then drove away at high speed and disappeared from view.

Crystal Palace are prepared to listen to offers for striker Jean-Philippe Mateta during the upcoming January transfer window, according to football transfer insider Ekrem Konur.

Newcastle United are prepared to sell 27-year-old English midfielder Joe Willock during the January transfer window rather than risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season.

According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur on social media, the club’s hierarchy does not intend to extend Willock’s contract. His current agreement with Newcastle United expires when the season ends.

The Magpies are therefore planning to transfer the midfielder in January, with Turkish club Besiktas among the teams reportedly interested in signing him.
