Barcelona weigh defensive options as Alessandro Bastoni linked with move from Inter Milan

Alessandro Bastoni has been linked with Barcelona again as the Catalan club assess potential defensive additions for next year.

According to Transfer News Live, citing TEAMtalk, Barcelona are among a number of leading European clubs interested in the Inter Milan centre-back. Interest in the 27-year-old Italy international has previously been attributed to clubs in the English Premier League.

Barcelona were regarded as favourites to sign Bastoni in the spring of this year, although that interest did not result in a deal.

Transfermarkt values the Inter Milan defender at €65m.
