The Nigerian defender registered his fourth assist of the Championship season, continuing his impressive contribution in the English second tier.

Blackburn took the lead in the 21st minute when Adam Forshaw finished from the edge of the box after being set up by Alebiosu. However, Stoke responded early in the second half, with Jesurun Rak-Sakyi converting from close range to restore parity.

The hosts pushed for a winner but were dealt a late setback when Ashley Phillips was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.

Earlier in the contest, Stoke had threatened through Million Manhoef, who curled an effort narrowly wide, while Balázs Tóth produced a fine save to deny Sam Gallagher. Alebiosu also delivered a dangerous cross towards Yuki Ohashi before the break, but the forward failed to hit the target.

Despite chances at both ends in the closing stages, neither side could find a decisive goal as the spoils were shared.

The result moves Blackburn four points clear of the relegation zone, while Stoke City sit 15th on the table with four games remaining in the Championship season.
