Nigeria Premier Football League side, Heartland FC through to the final of the 2025 Imo FA Cup for the first time in three seasons,Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

On Tuesday, the Naze Millionaires defeated the giant killers, Dom Daniel FC, 3-0 at OISA Stadium in Ngor Okpala.

After holding Heartland FC for over 40 minutes, the team from Nekede, Owerri West conceded the first goal.

Suraju Lawal scored from a goal-mouth scramble after a good assist from Emmanuel Charles in the 42nd minute of the game.

It was an advantage for Heartland with a penalty after two minutes into additional time following a late collapse from Dom Daniel.

Dom Daniel's Goalkeeper saved Tobi Iyanda's effort from the spot kick, but the midfielder coolly slotted the ball home on the second attempt after the goalie's rebound came to his path.

Suraju Lawal scored his second of the game after lobbing a badly positioned Dom Daniel's Goalie for the third goal 3 minutes into the second half.

The encounter ended 3-0 as Heartland FC qualified for the final to face OISA FC, which beat Captain Marvel 3-1 in the other semi-final.
