Sanmi Doherty, vice president of the club, was in Spain for a commercial meeting with prominent European football executives, including Guillem Laporta, the chairman of Lian Sports Group and the son of Barcelona president Joan Laporta.
Sanmi Doherty disclosed that the aim was to set protocols that will aid in the development of the club's players, other Nigerians, and later African players.
He said, “We are working on an agreement to have Guim (Laporta) visit us in Lagos soon, see our players and others too before the next transfer window opens in Europe."
