Ikorodu City FC, has strengthened its goalkeeping department with the signing of Liberian goalkeeper Derrick Julu from Watanga FC, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Julu has joined the NPFL side on a two-year deal, becoming one of the many foreign players in the league.
The shot-stopper is expected to compete for the number one goalkeeping position at Ikorodu City and will be a key player in the team's lineup.

With Julu between the posts, Ikorodu City will look to make a strong impression in the upcoming season.
“We’re excited to sign Liberian national team goalie, Derrick Julu from 2x Liberian First Division Champions Watanga FC on a two years deal,” Ikorodu City announced on X
Ikorodu City's first challenge will come against Kwara United in their opening fixture of the season.
