Ighalo leads Al Hilal to King Cup final

Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo played a pivotal role as Al Hilal secured passage to the final of Saudi Arabia King Cup on Sunday, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The Nigerian striker was on parade for 90 minutes as Hegazy own goal in the 106th minutes helped Al Hilal make it to their second final this season having previously qualified for the AFC Champions League final.

Ighalo and Al Hilal will play the first leg of the AFC Champions League final at home this Saturday 29th April, 2023 against Urawa Reds at the King Fahd International Stadium.

The second leg will come up a week after I'm Japan at the Saitama Stadium 2002.

The big Nigerian striker have scored 25 goals across all competitions for Al Hilal this season and will hope to add to his 7 goals tally in the AFC Champions League when they play the two-legged final against Urawa Reds.
