Super Falcons striker, Ifeoma Onumonu has joined D1 Arkema side Montpellier HSC from USA NWSL Utah Royal FC, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 30-year-old striker leaves the NWSL side as a free agent after the two parties parted ways by mutual consent.
The former Gotham FC player who joined Utah Royal FC in December 2023 made only five appearances after an ankle injury.

She becomes the first-ever Nigerian player to play for Montpellier who finished 6th in the Arkema Première Ligue last season.
She joins her compatriot, Jennifer Echegini who plays for PSG in the league.
