I want to fight for honours with Abia Warriors: Leke Ojo

Ex- Akwa United goalkeeper said the Umuahia-based Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit has all it takes to challenge for major titles next season.

Olorunleke who once starred for Akwa United teamed up with the club, from Sunshine Stars on a free transfer last month.

“I am in Abia Warriors to achieve greatness, greatness as many as they come. I am very positive that things are going to come good”.

The former junior international goalkeeper added the opportunity to work with a coach like Imama Amapakabo is another reason for signing for the club.

The Super Eagles assistant coach Amapakabo, who won the NPFL with Rangers in 2016, and he’s expected to help the Umuahia Warlords challenge for major honors.

“To be frank with you, my coming here (Abia Warriors) is more encouraged with the coming of Imama (Amapakabo),”

Ojo, who once played for the now-defunct Giwa FC, was an integral part of the Akwa United side that won the 2017 AITEO Cup.
