Sadiq, who joined Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad last weekend, came on as a substitute in the 2-0 win and played for 56 minutes before being replaced by Hugo Duro.

The 25-year-old forward, who has the opportunity to make his move to Valencia permanent at the end of the season, is eager to establish himself as an important player for the club.

"I needed a game like this, I want to give it continuity," Sadiq said after the match.
