Victor Collins, a center-back from Nasarawa United, is focused on becoming a mainstay in the Super Eagles squad as he prepares for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Collins, the only home-based player in the squad, expressed excitement at the opportunity to train alongside stars like Victor Osimhen and Alex Iwobi. He told Brila FM, “It’s a privilege to be here. Just imagine watching players like Osimhen and Iwobi on TV... and now I’m here.”

Recognizing the dedication needed to secure his spot, Collins noted, "If I was giving 110% before, I need to give 150% now."

Aiming to leverage his time with the Super Eagles, he emphasized his winning mindset and determination, saying, “My mentality is always about winning; I don’t settle for less... by the special grace of God, I’m here to stay.”
